Hello! Welcome to my home page !
  
          Let’s get  acquainted! My name is Victoriya, but you may shorten it and call me Vika.   I’m 22 and a student of the State University ( MaSU ) in Magnitogorsk, which is the name of the place where I was born and live. Magnitogorsk is in the South Ural region of Russia.  The town itself is not very big, about half a million people live in it, but it’s one of the world’s biggest metallurgical centers as this is where Magnitogorsk Steel Plant (MMK) is. You may also have heard about the town’s hockey team “Metallurg” and KVN team “A Provincial Town” (KVN is a very popular TV show in Russia, a kind of humour contest, where teams from all over the country compete for the title of “the wittiest”). In the picturesque mountains near the town there are two modern skiing centers: Abzakovo and Bannoye. One can have a wonderful time there both in winter and in summer. Those interested in history and nature-study like visiting Arkaim, a famous archaeological place near Magnitogorsk, where they can see unique historical and pre-historical sights, find rare species of plants, animals and insects , and enjoy magnificent views. 
          Our town is also famous for beautiful girls ,…but stop, I think I’ve got off the point, and now should tell you more about myself. Well, I’m a cheerful and sporty person, I like jokes, and enjoy communicating on Internet, learning new things, learning more about computer technologies. That’s why I’ve made my home-sight. It’s my first project, so I’ll appreciate your opinion on it, but, please, don’t be too strict , I’m not a professional yet, moreover, we had only elementary classes in informatics at school. OK, OK, I’m not going to blame my teachers for it. Of course, it’s my own fault that I’ve failed to enter the faculty of informatics. But I'm not upset. I'm all right! I study Psychology and education management at UNI, I study on the instruction by correspondence already and I work at once.
          Well, also, I love animals: cats, dogs, horses. Unfortunately, I can’t keep a horse at home, and I have not cat now... But I had a dog, Collie, in the old days. She was very beautiful with a wonderful huge coat . HEARTFELT SAINT VALERY from ANGELLAND, that’s in her pedigree, seems to be a bit too long for a pet name, so we called her SANTA. When I walked with her, little kids in the street often point to her told “Look! There’s a lion,” or “There’s a fox” and their parents said them “She’s a Sheltie” or “She’s a cross-breed of Chow with Collie”. This makes me smile because my SANTA was 100% Collie!
